Sun-bleached, sea-kissed, ten minutes from everything.

The Sundune runs on a coastal-desert frequency: early light through linen curtains, copper fixtures catching the morning, cool aloe on the walls. A space that doesn't try too hard and doesn't need to. Two bedrooms, a proper kitchen, and downtown Palm Springs is ten minutes away when you want it, easy to ignore when you don't.

The design pulls from surf and sand without being a caricature of either. Real retro personality. Sun-bleached textures, natural materials, the kind of place that makes you want to stay in. Three king beds means three couples can share without anyone drawing straws over the pull-out. That almost never happens in Palm Springs.

Why Palm Springs, Why This House

I wanted a Palm Springs property with a real downtown address, actual king beds (not one king and two queens), and design that felt specific rather than generic. The Sundune is what came out of that. Coastal-desert without the clichés, walkable to everything, the kind of place you extend your stay because leaving feels wrong.

Three couples can stay here without anyone negotiating over sleeping arrangements. That's rarer than it sounds in Palm Springs. Most places give you one king and two queens, which means somebody's always drawing the short straw. The Sundune gives everyone a proper bed and a door that closes. The mornings are the best part: early light through the linen curtains, coffee made, nothing that needs deciding yet.

Location

Downtown Palm Springs is walkable. Palm Canyon Drive, coffee shops, galleries, restaurants, and vintage stores are all on foot. About 5 minutes to Palm Springs Surf Club. 25 minutes to Indian Wells Tennis Garden (BNP Paribas Open). 30 minutes to Coachella and Stagecoach at Empire Polo Club. 45 minutes to Joshua Tree National Park.

Who Stays Here

Three couples who want their own king beds and a location that earns the trip. Groups who notice design and want a downtown address with real personality. Anyone who's tried to find a Palm Springs rental that's actually walkable to everything and kept coming up short. The Sundune is what you were looking for.
