The room people photograph first.
The Rebel Wall wallpaper runs floor to ceiling across the full feature wall. 57 feet of tropical print at nine and a half feet high. We ordered it in March, it arrived, and Orlin installed the whole thing in a single day. The room count on that day was stressful. The result was not.
The headboard is a custom build: cement tile, set in a pattern, installed directly to the wall. It was one of Dawn's design board ideas we decided to actually execute rather than file away. The woven sconce is positioned at the seating nook corner, next to a checkerboard side table that catches more attention than anything in the room except the wallpaper.
There is a seating nook in a small alcove that was not in the original floor plan. It could have stayed empty. We put a sconce and a checkerboard table there instead, and now it looks like it was always meant to be used that way. The jute rug grounds the whole room. Full-length mirror on the back of the closet door.
Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, Kahlo blue pool. This is the one guests photograph first.
