Kahlo blue water. In-pool sun shelf. The whole point of the house.
The pool deck is new, poured by Tom at Concrete By Design. The original concrete was standard issue. What replaced it has a texture and warmth that photographs like Morocco and holds up in 110-degree heat. It runs the full length of the backyard, connecting the covered patio to the pool edge without interruption.
The pool catches the light between 4 and 6pm in a way that makes you stop whatever you are doing. The Kahlo blue holds it differently than any other color would. In-pool sun shelf loungers mean you can stay submerged with a book and a drink, no towel, no overheating. The West Elm outdoor sofa anchors the covered patio. A yellow mustard ceramic garden stool sits beside it. The blue and white stripe umbrella anchors the whole backyard visually. Beach robes for six guests are stacked and ready inside.
The fire pit and the inflatable movie screen are both still coming in Phase 2. The outdoor space works completely without them. The pergola string lights over the grill area handle the evenings. Dinner outside stops being a logistical exercise and becomes the whole point of the night.
The pool, the patio, and three bedrooms inside. Pool heating available at $75 per night.
